Rotterdam, The Netherlands
How long have you been making stickers?
I’m into stickers since 2010, so about 4 years.
What inspired you to first start producing stickers?
Walking in the streets and seeing graffiti really had a great impact on me. When I saw people doing stickers I tried it out with some adhesive paper and an Edding pen, since then I haven’t stopped producing stickers.
Mostly I use thermal UPS sheets and PostNL labels from the post office here in The Netherlands, but to me every adhesive sheet of paper is good enough to be pieced on. Markers I would say: Copic, Molotow, Posca, Sharpie and cheap markers.
What role would you say stickers play within the greater scope of art?
To me stickers are a way to get your detailed work out there easier. You don’t have to rush things when you’re making stickers.
What are some of your favorite places to put up slaps?
Poles, trashcans, traffic lights, toilet rooms, doors, almost everything people get involved with so they can see the work and effort that’s put into the stickers.
What is the longest one of your slaps has survived in the wild?
About 6-7 months until some douche ripped it off and nothing was left anymore.
Have you ever had any run-ins with the law due to your stickering?
Never, and if they did I would tell them to catch some real criminals. Not a cat putting up some stickers.
What other artists inspire you?
ChrisRWK, ElToro, Faust, BobWillReign, SDK and CrimsonCisa.
If you had to guess, how many stickers have you produced to date?
Between 700 and a 1000 I guess.
Is stickering about quantity or quality?
Quality just because of the fact that guys put time and effort into it. Make people remember your name!
Do you collect and/or trade slaps with other artists?
I recently started trading to get other artist’s work and to get my work out there in other countries and states.
Fuck Being Polite!
What is the best way for people to follow your work?
ChrisRWK, ElToro, Faust, BobWillReign, SDK and CrimsonCisa. Thank you guys for inspiring me to get my artistic side out!
